I loved this book. I was a bit disappointed in the outccome, but I still love it.
5 stars.
So this is going to be a fairly long review. I have so many points that I want to write about. I’m really excited to start.
The first thing I wanted to mention was the relationship that Cassian and Nesta had. It was so much like Feyre and Rhysand’s. Hate and then love. I absolutely adored it when Cassian said,
“Because I can’t stay away.”
like, HOLY COW.
I was literally singing, THE SHIP IS SAILING THE SHIP IS SAILING over and over. I was super excited for Nesta and Cassian.
Of course I would expect Nesta to be hostile, but I didn’t expect her to be this cold. She was so fiery and now as a high fae living in the house of Rhysand, I think she should be acting a bit more grateful. I mean, they savedd her butt!
Later on in the book, Nesta is worried.
But of course, Mor jumped in and acted like a jealous ex. I always loved Morrigan, but she was getting in the way of their relationship. Mor, please know when to back off.
I don’t think that I can fully express how awesome Nesta is. I laughed so much when she just completely ignored Helion. He totally deserved it, after all the womanizing and manizing he’d done in the past.
The next thing I want to say is this. HELION WANTS A FOURSOME WITH CASSIAN, AZRIEL AND MOR??????
Sarah J. Maas incorporated so many new sexual things like sexuality or just sex generally. It was quite, strange, but I got used to it. It was entertaining to see the three rejecting Helion. Again.
Though there was a lot of laughter, I also cried. Like a bucket full of tears.
When the Suriel died. I cried. He was probably one of my favorite characters in ACOTAR, ACOMAF and then,
he died.
Just like that.
Because of Ianthe.
I was so glad that the Weaver killed (or ate or whatever she did) Ianthe. She deserved everything that was given to her and more. HOW COULD YOU BETRAY HER YOU PROSTITUTE.
I found this thing online though. I really liked it so I just put it here.

Let’s talk about my favorite parts of the book.

I honestly love him so much. I wish he was my boyfriend. 🙂
I did not know what to think when Elain killed Hybern. I just sat there and though. WTH. How and why and how and why and whyyyy.
I loved the image of this beautiful, delicate Elain that could open up to Lucien or Azriel (IDK)
But she just killed him. Just like that. The all powerful KING OF HYBERN  was killed by Elain.
Speech LESS
The next thing is something that EVERYONE has to have thought about.
And that is Rhys’ death.
When I saw these words
And Rhys was dead.
I started crying.
I cried so much. My pillow was stained with my tears.
I knew that Rhys had to come back to life. I assumed that he would be revived in the next book. But then, poof he was alive. And then POOF AMREN IS ALIVE.
And then I was like WHATTTTT
and I went back and reread everything that happened in that chapter.
I was disappointed that Tamlin wasn’t on my TO KILL list anymore.
He annoyed me. But I was thankful to him for giving that thingy that you could give. Soooo. I have mixed opinions about this guy. But I honestly hope that he finds love somehow. I think he deserves it for all he’s done for Feyre.
